Åse (pronounced ore-se) is a Swedish, UK qualified, counsellor, personal performance coach, NLP practitioner and parenting coach, who works with clients in English, Swedish, German and Swiss-German.
Åse raised a family whilst relocating to several countries over the years. This background, including experience of dealing with social differences and personal challenges, and rising concerns around the many stress factors associated with modern life and their impact on mental health, led to her interest in helping individuals and families achieve and maintain a nurturing, stable and content atmosphere in all areas of their lives, including at home. Emotional wellbeing and resilience lies at the heart of her work.
Åse has worked within the NHS as a counsellor, as well as running her own private practice in both counselling and coaching. She has also worked as a volunteer for Family Link and Homestart, supporting families in need.
In collaboration with her business partner, Jenni Cole, and with A Resilient Mind, Åse delivers and facilitates numerous training courses, seminars, workshops and coaching sessions spanning a range of topics including mental health awareness, emotional wellbeing, resilience, adapting to change, parenting (early years/adolescents), and female/male health (such as menopause/andropause).
Together Åse and Jenni have delivered workshops at international corporations, SMEs, NGOs and local government.
